Electric Dream

This is my first track from the 'Homecooked Sessions'. I'll be posting an original creation every Sunday. The songs under these sessions are not meant to be professional songs. I just want to experiment with my music for some time and discover my style. In short, I'm kind of experimenting.

Song's Backstory:
It was raining the other day and I was playing my ukulele and I ended up writing this song. Also, I drew the album art on the phone: it was my first time, so please don't judge :P
This is kind of a raw recording, I'll probably turn and produce it into a proper song someday. Till then, enjoy the acoustic version.

Apologies in advance for the bad audio quality. I've was stuck at this project for months (until I decided to 'screw all that editing' and post the song)
A few months back I came across an article where a girl ended up killing herself because her family refused to accept her as a queer person and even resorted to taking her to 'de-addiction' centres. The story broke my heart and I ended up writing this song following a similar theme.
The original version was pretty long but I couldn't fit all the verses, so here's an abridged version:
