Worked this one out at the start of the week, really happy with how the blend turned out. On my most recent listen of this album, this track really hit me in a different way. Perfect way to close the album imo. So dope how Rae and Ghost are bouncing off each other, reminds me of the 3rd verse from ‘Fast Life’ by Nas and Kool G Rap. I think as an outro the OG defo works being at such a slow BPM (like 70 something), but for this remix being a standalone thing I knew I'd want to speed it up and go for a different vibe. Defo happy with how it worked out, the flow fits the bounce of the drums really nice and the acapella blends well with the key of the sample, especially on the outro when Ghost and Rae are shouting everyone out, love how they both sound together there, vibe is on point imo. Very different to the OG but still got an emotional feel to it I think.
