Welcome to the Literacy Takeaway Kits

This is a channel with tips and tricks to support parents and carers to put together story sacks. These sacks are part of a lending library that will roll out to our local schools from Sept. 2015 and currently being piloted. The whole idea is to use the medium of audio to support this wonderful learning and sharing journey. As we have developed story sacks with parents and carers in small groups, we want to share this learning experience to encourage others to follow suit or pop into our venue for support. We hope that the lending library with a drop in session will encourage those who are unsure to see how fun reading can be so that doubtful local parents and carers will eventually participate in our lovely courses.
