Andre Mayborn has been evolving as an artist and DJ since early 2016. His music reflects diverse ethnic themes from cultures all over the world that combine hypnotic grooves of African tribes, upbeat Balkan fusions, rhythmic ensembles of the Middle East, meditative chants of Asian temples, Indian shamanism and mystic Slavic folklore.

Often defined as avant-garde downtempo Andre's music takes his audience on a spiritual journey into the world guiding their imagination through mysterious times and places, triggers their deep emotions and thoughts, gives inspiration to their minds. Each performance is an aesthetic interpretation of diverse cultural repercussions with their sacred messages seen from a contemporary perspective.

Andre is a co-founder and resident at AnimaTerra Festival, a global initiative and platform for self-expression which is aimed to promote multicultural electronic/world music, flow and visual arts through engaging creative communities and musical talents all around the world.

Wake up slowly to another banger of a set by our Geju. Ever since the Russian duo set foot inside our Gardens we have been completely addicted to their sound. The longer they play the more interesting it becomes and like always we gave them a three hour set during our Amsterdam Dance Event together.

Enjoy and tell us what you think. Even though we pick up on the deep and dark sound of the two, it also picks up the pace. Unlike Geju? Or did we enter a new period of time for these supertalent.

The thoroughbred DJ and selector from Turkey founded three radio stations and heads various festivals like the Chill Out Festival, one of the most beautiful gatherings in Turkey. “Off mainstream” is the golden thread running through all of his many activities, also as host of two exclusive radio shows “Cool Sessions” and “Daydreaming”, a platform he shares with likeminded artists.
