@lithium1312 (they/them), a Berlin-based emerging artist, began their DJ journey just a year ago. With a background in classical music, they bring a creative and nuanced approach to DJing. Their sets reflect the unpredictability of life—blending diverse genres, unexpected twists, and a constant drive for experimentation. For "Submerged," they combined hypnotic, melancholic melodies with dark metallic sounds, layered over bouncy, vibrant beats and syncopated rhythms to transport listeners into unknown dimensions.

LITHIUMS aim was to create a driving set that matches the atmosphere in the gallery. The sounds are supposed to be unexpected and unsettling. 
By integrating the eeriness of the art exhibition into this set, while having a groovy baseline and some fun breaks in between, I am creating a driving rhythm that grabs you like a wave. This and an irresistible flow of sounds is something I try to integrate into all of my DJ sets. Variations, experimenting with samples and unpredictable twists make DJing much more fun- not just for me but also, in my opinion, for the dancing and listening crowd.
