Bergamo native Igor Zanga makes his Black Seven Music debut with an impressive two-track release - A Bientot.

Following releases on Techaway, Unnamed & Unknown, Material, Happy Techno and many more, we welcome Bergamo-based talent Igor Zanga to the label with his debut release. Featuring two freshly squeezed Tech rollers, ‘A Bientot’ encompases a duo of terrace-ready rollers and an endless sea of percussive-led creativity from start to finish. 

Kicking off the release, the title cut ‘A Bientot’ lays on a thick spread of weighty drums, tonal percs and robust bass notes. A weighty core paves the way for a series of climactic peaks and danceable troughs as it works its way through an ebb and flow of dancefloor focused pleasantry. 

‘My House Is Your House’ rounds off the release with swinging drum grooves and more crisp percussive flair from the outset. Focusing around rhythmic tones and an elegant vocal hook, its concoction of firm beats and subtle harmonics combine to deliver a delicately funky vibe-builder. 

Igor Zanga’s ‘A Bientot’ EP is out on 19th September 2022 on Black Seven Music.

Joe Tapia, born in 1986, started as a DJ in 2008 in Panama. He took his first steps as a DJ in nightclubs in the nightlife areas such as Calle Uruguay and Zona Viva (the party zone), and he went on to perform in various clubs and bars in those locations. In 2011, he began his journey as a music producer, with his first release under the label (South Records) of renowned Panamanian DJ Tom Sawyer. Continuing his path as a DJ and producer, he has performed in renowned structures and major festivals in Panama City, sharing the stage with internationally acclaimed DJs such as Till Von Sein, Billy The Kit, Sech, Eddy Lover, La Factoria, among others. In 2015, he founded the record label Stellar Recordings, which served as a platform for many amateur Panamanian electronic music producers, reaching countries like Mexico, Belarus, Spain, and Venezuela. In 2018, he created the music movement "Feel The Groove," which aims to promote the fusion of Latin American sounds with House music and remains active in the nightlife scene to this day.
