Spy vs Spy

Yesterday we said our final farewells to Andrew, with beautiful and moving eulogies from Bobby G and Ian, Andrew's brother, as well as a couple of other lovely tributes from colleagues from the book world and Carcassone. A fitting send off for a friend of our who's wit, wisdom and friendship I will miss for the rest of my life. As I know we all will. We laughed and we cried and it was a fitting send off to a truly special man and friend.. Sending deepest condolonces to his lovely partner Lizzie, and Ian and Bob his brother and Dad and of course his musical compadre and special friend Nina. Love you matey and it hurts...Cant believe we will never see you again, but in the words of The Scream "your light shines on"

A top notch Geordie DJ whose skills have taken him across the world, Boiler Room appearances in Brussels and Berlin, Panorama Bar, Love International, Mexico, Japan, New York, Thailand, Amsterdam, Australia, LA… the list goes on...

He’s the owner of the record label ‘Me Me Me’ along with its sub label ‘Now Now Now’, and a prolific producer himself with releases on a variety of other labels: DJ Tennis’ Life and Death, Jennifer Cardini’s Corespondent, as well as DGTL, Four Thirty Two, Optimo Trax, Hivern Discs, and even a Futureboogie release of his own as the final track of his Bside episode.

With his hectic touring schedule cut short, he’s been a busy bee during lockdown, publishing videos to help with music production, increasing his output of mixes, and making some more of his own music:

Before smoothly sliding on through to some of his favourite electronic tracks from Pepe Braddock, Kenny Larkin, and his own production ‘Ashes’ with the Last Waltz collective.
