Always associated with quality underground vibes, the ever-impressive Bondage-Music delivers more of the good stuff, from label favourite Frink.

The title track “Perseus” (with James Dexter) is a wonderful heads down groover, with its subtly dubby flavored groove, and plenty of swagger, this spacious groove merges yesteryear with a fresh essence effortlessly.
“Fresco” is next up, and it feels like fresh air blowing gently across your face, as this bright and punchy workout unleashes its summer sounds, yet retaining a deep slant throughout.

We get serious a “Calama” goes deep, and locks you in to is mystic flavours, while a punchy and crisp set of beats encase the flavours. 

It’s time to loosen those hips for the closing track “Púrpura”, as we slinkily enjoy this housy smiley inducer, fusing deep vibes with a wonderful glow.

"Poison" is next up, and to round off this winning release, with a spaciously deep workout, fusing dubbiness with a sense of urgency, as this late night number lets loose.

Having brought back seminal imprint Music For Freaks last year after a 7 year hiatus, Luke Solomon and Justin Harris’ imprint returns with its next leftfield-sounding release from none other than legendary pairing Dan Ghenacia and Chris Carrier.

Ghenacia — as you probably already know — earnt his stripes in Paris' underground scene over the last couple of decades; he’s also ther founder of Freak N’Chic, but more recently has been focussing his attention on b2b2b DJ outfit Apollonia.

Chris Carrier, owner of Adult Only records, teams up with his long-time friend Dan Ghenacia for Music For Freak’s latest — and it’s just about the best thing you’ll hear this week.

We’re excited to be premiering ‘Vaporized’ which sees the duo on fine form as they build a track out of jangling percussion lines, gloopy basslines, and brain melting synth work. By the time you hit the halfway mark the duo bring all those constituent parts — as well as unnerving samples, robotic vocals, and fluttering acid top lines — to the boil for an outstanding cut a disco-fied leftfield house that’s being caned by Ricardo Villalobos on a weekly basis at the moment.

Oblack’s next release comes from Sascha Dive & Christian Burkhardt with two deep cuts this March, featuring a rhythmic remix from label owners Los Pastores.

Since starting in 2012 Los Pastores’ Oblack has released music by some of the scene’s most well-known talent, with appearances from Robsoul Recordings founder Phil Weeks, Endless owner Luca Bacchetti and Dogmatik Records boss Alex Arnout. Deep Vibes label head Sascha Dive and German producer Christian Burkhardt now join the ranks with a collaborative release, previously working together on Raum...musik, Freebase Records and Burkhardt’s own label CB Sessions.

The release opens with whipping snares and as bouncing bassline in ‘Chordrush’ before dubby synths ebb and flow throughout, moving into the mesmerising ‘Craigser’ where soothing chords join echoing effects. Tying it all together, Los Pastores put their spin on ‘Craigser’ by taking the track into more percussive territories, adding breakbeat inspired drums and a variety of samples.
