Falling so crystalline
Whirring a distant hum that slides
Seizing unyielding time

Swathes of yellow fading
Fleeting moments swaying
Fragments breaking through
Moments we once knew

A day that wears a distant glow
something stirs the air and goes
and takes me from the humdrum ground
and leads me to the steps i've found

and while i'm waiting in the wings
i'm missing much of everything
and loosing touch with what i knew
i'm hanging on an old refrain
these ghostly winds that bear the shame
won't let me through

glazing luminous on paths we tread
hanging in the wild days that fled
