We’re hitting the ground running on this next one as Toolroom welcomes mysterious UK duo Wh0 & Brighton powerhouse Kideko for their main label release. Teaming up together on ‘Soul Searcher’, Wh0 & Kideko bring a fresh touch to the label with a sound that skirts the world of 2000’s Daft Punk French House vibe but with a more refined edge. 
 
Wh0 have released on Toolroom and the sub label Toolroom Trax previously, with the killer ‘Real Good’ & Dombresky collab ‘Take Me Away’, Kideko on the other hand makes his Toolroom debut. An established name in the scene already, Kideko has released cuts on Ministry of Sound, Stress Records, Realm and many more, collaborating with artists such as Friend Within, Armand Van Helden and Kudu Blue to name a few. 
 
Although we might not really know who Wh0 are, given the result of this record, it’s clear to see that the duo are a perfect match for a collab with Kideko. Together, they have dropped a full blown, feel-good House production. From the get-go, ‘Soul Searcher’ hooks you in with its incredible use of the 1976 classic D.C Larue ‘Cathedrals’ sample layered with tough drums and plenty of weight to keep those dance floors moving. 
There are some awesome brass hits that swirl around the filtered-out rising piano chords and a killer vocal ‘Don’t stop the music now it’s deep inside my soul’. Safe to say Kideko & Wh0 have absolutely smashed this!

An incredible collaboration here from 2 heavyweight house artists, working together for the very first time! David Penn has a career spanning over 25 years. OFFAIAH appears on Toolroom for the first time in his career under this alias, although he was a firm part of the original Toolroom Family line up as Michael Woods. So this is a SPECIAL ONE! Being born in 1995 and having grown in a musical atmosphere thanks to his father, Alec Carlsson's love of music started when he was nine years old. He first learnt to mix, mainly techno and tech-house tracks influenced by Carl Cox' style, and graduated to producing.Then, he has been refining his technique for about five years, exploring many kinds of music and grooves.
In 2009, he signed his first ep on a UK based label and since, he keeps producing musics and remixes for the likes of Dust Traxx Records (Chicago), roXour (Patrick Alavi's label), Nocturnal Recordings, and a few other labels. His music has been widely supported, played, or mentionned by the likes of Axwell, Roger Sanchez, Louis La Roche, The Phantom's Revenge, Ridney, Jaymo, Hatiras, DJ DLG, TEPR, Justin Faust, Bit Funk, or Ghosts of Venice to name a few.
