High Cross Society are a lighthouse of originality in an ocean of also-rans, a coming together of some of the UK's finest live musicians which has resulted in a truly unique album. This is an album that bucks the current trend for disposable pop and brutalist dance tracks, choosing instead to create something more cantabile and palpable. Like all the greatest music it sits outside of time - at once classic and contemporary, this will sound as good in 20 years as it does now.

The project was born when Lazy Habits and Joshua Whitehouse (More Like Trees) joined forces after meeting and writing together at Local Posse sessions - an improvisational night set up by Joe Driscoll. Their initial two songs would quickly became eight and at this point they drafted in multi-instrumentalist mastermind Fjokra to play piano and head up the production elements and preparation for what would now be a full band. A band that includes Local Posse drummer and member of the Joe Driscoll & Sekou Kouyate band - James Breen, Lazy Habits percussionist Steve Abunab and classical double bassist Lachlan Radford (More Like Trees). In the studio they were joined by the 'Habits Horns' (Luke Fabia on trumpet, Ben Thorpe trombone), Fjokra's electric bassist S.E.B, 2X UK beatbox champion Reeps One, and the unbelievably dulcet vocals of Josh Bevan. Top all this off with production taken care of by the award-winning John Hendicott and you have something very special.

The album drops in December with artwork from Yeff (a.k.a. Reeps One). There will be a short tour, details of which will be announced soon. For interview requests, and promo please don't hesitate to get in touch at:

Breakbeat Paradise Recordings is pleased to finally welcome to the label a true veteran in the funky breaks scene: Mr PulpFusion with the huge 12” vinyl release Funk Never Sleeps. Straight out of Switzerland, PulpFusion has been producing funky jams since the early days of nu funk, and this time around he has brought a true dream team of remixers for this enormous 7-track EP. On the flip side he has teamed up with another skilled funk producer Morris Chestnuts from Bristol as well as Producer and Rapper Imagine This from New Zealand to help complete this funk fest of a release.

PulpFusion has countless albums and EPs under his belt and done remixes for Ed Royal and Mr Bird & Tal M Klein as well as running the successful label Pig Balls Records. He has a unique sound that has strong roots in electric psychedelic funk mixed with beats and breaks.

The remix duties are in good hand with all experts within their fields starting with DJ Maars from down under, who is true master in skanky reggae mash-ups - Mr. Rory Hoy who is skillfully keeping alive the sounds of the big beat era and finally a true BBP all-star Jayl Funk who specializes in anything funky for the dancefloor.

Ladies and gentlemen we are proud to present you the long awaited new mini ep from Timewarp inc. A brand new release with two fresh songs under the title 'Dubwarp' is coming out on your digital music world. The release features great collaborations with Timewarp inc’s, favorite and special fellow friends and artists: Al The X-King (Guitar), Georges Perin (Vocals), Gobey (Vocals), RSN (Scratches).

The opening track 'Theory of Revolution’ stands out in the area of dub, reggae, beats and roots and features one of our favorite vocalists, the half French-half Greek Georges Perin, participating with his talented voice, delivering unique soulful-funk vocals. The lyrics were written by his lyric mate Panagiotis Skraparlis. Also featured in the release is a long eight-minute dub version with more music, fewer vocals, dubbed & burned with space echoes to trip out your mind and stack you in the mood.

Second track ‘Liberty is Our Destiny’ brings back the breaks in a dub style with plenty of funk and big bass concept. Here we get the strong vocals and lyrics from another great talent, Gobey, the MC & vocalist from Balkan Riddms and Just Dread. Born in Africa, bred in Greece, this is the man behind the riddim, authentic, real and expressing to the fullest representing one love ideology. Yet another good fellow friend, RSN, appears with his special recorded scratches for the song. An instrumental version is included on the release, as we mind our fans, lovers and collectors, for less vocals music.

Al The X-King is responsible for all the great guitars lines, hooks and melodies on both songs, he is also one of the founders of the well know great Greek band The Burger Project, an extremely talented musician, vocalist and a great guitar player!

All tracks where produced and analog mastered by Angelos Timewarp Stoumpos.
