So I decided to do a cover of Simple Math. I love love love Manchester Orchestra so I hope you like it.

I'm not even sure what this track is about. When I wrote it, I was in a bad place, so would spend a lot of time just thinking of a different life, and sometimes not even thinking at all. I became fixated on the idea that there could be multiple versions of you, in a completely different place who made different- maybe better choices in life- than I am making right now. Somewhere out there, there is a grown up version of you, who has exactly what you want when you're older; yet they are still questioning everything because they aren't satisfied. They are restless, and this is maybe what I'm worried about becoming. I'm worried that no matter how much I change things, I will always be restless with what I have. And that I have always been a nobody, but I want to make a difference in the world before I die. I want to do something good for someone. 

If you look too hard within yourself to find what you are supposed to be, you will find nothing. It you wait for it to happen, it might happen. So I guess I wrote this song to try and get some closure, and to tell myself that it is ok to be restless- one day I will settle. 

It's ok to not know who you are.

A singer songwriter who is lucky enough to be based in the beautiful city of Brighton, UK. Likes to write about people and places in particular, forests, animals, anything creative and inspiring. 

Sounds a bit like Ben Howard, Suzanne Vega, Ellie Goulding, Daughter and Benjamin Francis Leftwhich with a 90s twist. But then again, she sounds nothing like them.
