Hailing from Salford, L I M are a Psych Rock Trio formed in 2015 by drummer Joe James and singer/songwriter Lloyd Kelly, who both met in secondary school. After a few members coming and going, there came a later addition in the form of bassist Matt Jones, who first met the lads on the music scene in Stockport while playing on the same gigs and seemed to click immediately. Although they have been around for a few years, the band see 2020 as the start of a new era and the true beginning of the band.

L I M’s wide range of influences including The Wytches, Arctic Monkeys, The Fall, King Gizzard, and The White Stripes, can be heard in the diverse catalogue of music they’ve written over the last five years.
Since forming, they’ve released two singles and a four-track EP, aswell as playing reputable venues around Manchester with bands such as False Advertising, Dead Naked Hippies, and False Heads. With no label or manager, L I M have made everything happen themselves.
The trio have also won Bolton FM’s Best Unsigned Band in 2016 and went on to play Tramlines Festival in 2017.
Going forward in 2020, they plan to be releasing more singles throughout the year and continuing to gain new fans.
