So... my extremely talented cousin sent me a PHONE recording of herself singing whilst playing the guitar. I have been so mesmerised by her cover I decided to process her original recording with subtle reverb and delay just to show what is possible with one lo-fi recording. If anyone is as mesmerised by her voice as I am reach out cuz she really does deserve more attention.

Recently my father passed away... unexpected, leaving my mum and myself to pick up the pieces of what was a broken family making amends - ironic how things break so easily.

To build a home has always been one of those songs I put on whenever feeling low or just in need of emotional comfort. 

Thinking of my Dad I decided to curve the trajectory by creating this, sampling the original score as well as a capella I found on yt into what I feel is a much happier remake of the original. 

Bottom line for me is no matter the loss you are in control of what you do next.
