On a Sunday night, my cousin texts me: "Are you watching the Grammys? There's a new Lady Gaga video playing instead of commercials."

Ten minutes had already passed, so I jumped on YouTube to check it out. The moment I hit play, I freaked out. This was one of the coolest pop songs I'd heard in a long time—a bold, unconventional song structure, a beautifully shot music video, and Gaga singing in gibberish - all too familiar, yet refreshing. The vocal harmonies in the refrain and that pre-chorus guitar riff had me drooling. It instantly took me back to the Bad Romance era. Right then and there, I knew—I had to Re-Light it.

For the first drop, I drew heavy inspiration from the late SOPHIE, whose surreal sound design, glittering dramatic melodies, and hard-hitting drums have deeply influenced my productions. Instead of killing the momentum to build it back up, I wanted a high-energy breakbeat straight out of the first drop—complementing the song’s departure from traditional pop formats. The final drop transforms into a melodic festival trap anthem, leading you into a soaring finish before one last guitar outro.
