French Cavalry [Original] [Studio Version]

Breaking the mould of the acoustic singer/songwriter genre, Liv & Toya, two 18 year olds from Norwich and Jersey, create a distinctive and "delightful" [BBC Radio 6 With Tom Robinson] sound through the utilization of various way-ward instruments, creating a full, live sound. 

Already making a mark on the UK folk-acoustic circuit; they continue to embrace the live and unsigned scene, being invited to play at the Norwich Arts Centre ‘Acoustic Showcase’ which ‘presents the freshest talent in and around Norfolk’, and The Goodship London. 

Most recently we were interviewed and played a live song in the studio at BBC Introducing Radio Jersey, alongside being featured on University York Radio as the 'growing song of the week', and our music was labelled 'delightful' by Tom Robinson on BBC 6 Introducing Music.

We most recently played at 'Sark Folk Festival' July 2011 which showcases 'more than 40 of the very best folk, acoustic, and roots artists from around the UK, France, and beyond' and were be joined by the likes of 6 Day Riot ["The next big thing" NME], James Findlay [Winner of BBC Young Folk Award 2010 Dorset] and Emily Smith [winner of BBC Radio Scotland's Young Traditional Music of the Year Award in 2002].

The ‘Acoustic-Experimental-Percussive’ style delivered is resonant
to the likes of Bon Iver, Ben Howard, Jose Gonzalez, Joan Baez, and The XX.
