Dear reader,

since Ramona presented all her disciples work throughout the first Lifesaver compilation in 2013, it's now time for another episode of togetherness. Summoning all of her artists around Frankfurt and those who live around the world, Ramona is now ready to present the Lifesaver Compilation 2. 

Kicked off by one of the Frankfurt young guns, the compilation leans into a melody-driven warm-up with a slight hint of analogue soul – "Digital Revolution" by Orson Wells. Next up is the Italian-born and now Berlin-based Massimiliano Pagliara. His contribution "Phasing Down The Sea" enriches the second Lifesaver installment with some of his signature synth-lines paired with a classic chicago-driven beat. The secret weapon from Kilianstädten also known as Mr. Melody, who goes by the name of Lauer, delivers a dark-italo and wave-ish piece topped off with the famous Lauer-craziness called "Language". Roman Flügel, the man of the hour, reinvents classic UK bleep-techno with “Tender Hooligan". Another member of the young-guns-club, Chinaski, brings his certain level of synthesizer-love to the table with a track called “Futuresex". Portable, one of Ramona's most delicate flowers, teamed up with Lcio again – together they created a hieroglyphic and deep-driven piece of music: "Dive In". TCB, also known as the only member of The Citizen's Band, delivers "Byrdmap", a solid piece of spheric deep and broken music. "Brainwashed" by Benedikt Frey marks the end of the compilation and simultaneously shows his dimension of futuristic dark-disco acid-madness. 

The Lifesaver compilation will be released as a double 12"-vinyl. Additionally Live At Robert Johnson will release an Extension-10"-vinyl containing two brand new tracks by the infamous Hotel Lauer and Tuff City Kids end of March 2015.

With a pair of deeply personal, emotionally charged tracks, Kyiv-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer @aalinkaa makes a powerful debut on @dgtl-festival with 'Heaven Knows / Always On Time'.

Built around a rolling bassline and hypnotic, oscillating vocal loops, 'Always On Time' is a late-night heater designed to reconnect you with the present. “The title means you’re exactly where you’re meant to be at this moment, you’re always on time,” she says. “It’s a reminder to be present, to enjoy the moment, and to always be grateful for where you’re at.”

Some artists build tracks. Others build entire channels for connection. For Berlin-based selector, producer, engineer, and label head Just_Me, the project has always been about more than just pressing play - it’s about pressing ideas into wax, giving edits a second life, and keeping one foot in the booth while the other tweaks compression settings in the backroom.

With releases on labels like Berg Audio, Tied, Hedzup, and now his own imprints Interkom Records and Coast2Coast, Just_Me has carved out a space where ’90s HipHop nostalgia rubs shoulders with sleek, future-facing house grooves - always with that signature bounce you’ll clock on the floor before you even clock the name on the sleeve.

His latest project, "Backspin", is the first vinyl statement on Interkom: a sci-fi arcade ride through the sounds that shaped him. Add in a heavyweight remix from Harry Wills, a new education platform called Headroom, and a Berlin basement or two still ringing from one of his sets - and it’s clear he’s not just mixing tracks, but whole worlds.

In this interview, Just_Me opens up about studio accidents turned club weapons, HipHop forever, the science of the bounce, and how staying patient, curious, and a little stubborn keeps the signal clear in a city that’s never quiet.

Originally from Romania, yet reborn on Berlin’s queer dance floors, Anaté blends her classical piano upbringing with a strong passion for dancing to bring rhythm and emotion into her sets. Shaped by 90s-00s influences, Anaté’s sound combines driving, percussive grooves, and dub-tinged elements for a deep, sultry dance-floor experience. Having shifted from songwriting and singing to DJing, she now weaves her voice more and more often into her mixes for an even deeper connection with the crowd.

Kicking things of with the title track ‘A Moment In Time’ with its bumpy beats from the start rolling into his trade mark layered synths and stabs making it perfect for them peak time sets, Then we have ‘The Ancestors’ where OM takes this cut into the deep depths of your soul with a nod to the early 90s US garage sound, Moving onto ‘Hypnotic Perception’ where once again it hits right from the get go taking you onto the spoken word in the breakdown, lots of layers in this one, Then finally we have ‘Total Confusion’ Where OM takes things a little darker but still capturing the right vibe for them peak time sets in them dark smokey rooms.

Orsa Minor is the creative fusion of long-time friends Cenzo Scoglio and James Hockley, a duo united by years of friendship and a deep-rooted passion for electronic music.

Cenzo is a staple of the underground scene, known for his deep, immersive sound and decades of experience behind the decks and in the studio. James brings a cinematic edge, drawing from his experience composing for film and television, as well as his expertise as a mix engineer mixing in both stereo and Dolby Atmos.

Both artists have a rich history of releases on respected labels across the electronic spectrum. Now, they join forces as ORSA MINOR, combining their talents to craft atmospheric, emotionally-driven electronic music.

Their new chapter begins with self-releasing music on their own imprint, Minor Sounds.

RESONANCE RITUALS 002

This is our fourth EP, we are back with various artists, mainly deep house focused. A bench of artist not signed yet on House Running , except Tell, who accepted to remix as well a new artist, Shedbug, from Australia. 
Saints by nite, a young Belgian artist from Ghent, invites us to discover his house universe with warm and sordide tones, TR-505 sounding, in that track called "Ballpark Figures". 
Shedbug, from Australia, who moved us with this track "Captain", very careful, relaxing and melodic production. 
Chinau, a french guy, who offer us "Pacific War", a powerfull track with a certain depth in synthesizers and powerfull 909 drums. 
And finally, from far East, the UFO this fourth EP, Djoiyan from Japan, surprised us with this track "Memories", which starts very minimalist and gradually reveals a classic housy piano chord, very stunning! Enjoy, share and download it!

Synth wizard und Disco don Massimiliano Pagliara is the latest addition to Uncanny Valley’s roster. And if you’re familiar with the Italian’s soundscapes you probably think this is good news. And yes, you’re right.

From the first bass drum it is clear that “Connection Lost” pulls out all the stops. There is an urgency in its drumming and synth work that shouts “dance floor anthem” right from the get-go. “I Am Running All My Drum Machines At Once And Dancing” plays out like a percussive orgasm triggering pretty much all the drum sounds you could imagine.

On the sleazy Disco affair that is “Don't Give Up On Love” Massimiliano gets vocal support from Sigrid Elliott. This is a oh-so-sexy alliance that would have shined bright even in the heydays of Boogie. Finally, “I Enjoy Myself While I Am Here” shows off once again that when Massimiliano Pagliara is at the keys he creates glorious vibes like nobody else.

The artwork was created by Alexander Dorn aka Credit 00 who also helped to establish the connection after contributing to Massimiliano’s album “With One Another”.
