Knee is a Meanjin/Brisbane rock'n'roll powerhouse on their opening leg of their career. Sharing members with local eggy punk band Midgee, Knee are a live experience akin to seeing Motörhead performing before they blew up. We caught Knee on tape at The Bearded Lady in West End supporting Metdog with Midgee on the 9th of February 2024.

Boing Boing (or Boingas) are Rock'n'Roll band hailing from Far North Queensland and currently based in the Gold Coast. They’re into Australiana, rugby league and rock'n'roll. On the 4th of May 2024 they put their hand up to open for The Radium Dolls at The Zoo for the Dolls’ ‘Legal Speed’ album tour. We recorded all of the bands who performed that evening and this set from Boing Boing is the first cab off the rank.

From the heart-pounding swagger of nationally-beloved live favourites to the sharp thrill of innovative new artists, our team scoured venues great and small across Meanjin/Brisbane to ensure you never missed out on the finest musical treasures the city had to offer. For eleven years, Live Delay brought the thrilling sound of our live music scene to the community and archived these live recordings and broadcasts through our Soundcloud page. In 2024, for a variety of creative and pragmatic reasons, Live Delay switched from a pre-recorded podcast-style program to a live broadcast from 4ZZZ Studio 2 each Friday afternoon featuring a live gig guide and various other up-to-the-minute information about live music in Meanjin/Brisbane.

On air from January 2013 to November 2024, Live Delay was broadcast on 4ZZZ, Zed Digital, and the Community Radio Network. The program is currently on indefinite hiatus.
