Hey there, how do you feel about listening to fast music for a good cause?

Bogota-based @bogoturerecords are releasing their compilation "All Eyes 'n' Colombia" this Friday to raise money in support of the country's ongoing protest movement against economic injustice, the government's mismanagement of COVID, and state violence. The protests - sparked by resistance against president Duque's proposed tax reform - have been met with incredible brutality by security forces. "Massacres, rapings and human rights violations have been daily bread. Colombia and all the people who've been fighting for their rights need our help."

In order to raise money for "various press, health care, food and human rights local organizations", Bogoture have rapidly assembled 22 top tier tight tracks from artists all over the world! Two of these artists, Dortmund's finest Bae Blade / @miatrice and @robintasi, contributed the stabby rave anthem "Chu Chu", which we have the honor of premiering today! As with previous Chromies releases, all money received will be going to a charity close to our hearts. This time around we will be donating to Kampania Przeciw Homofobii In Poland 🏳️‍🌈  KPH are a non-profit organisation helping our Polish LGBTQ+ brothers & sisters who are subject to some of the harshest discrimination in the world thanks to a openly homophobic government. According to KPH Every third LGBTQ+ person in Poland faces physical or psychological violence and young people do not feel safe in their schools or homes.

Governments in Poland started passing resolutions last year declaring themselves to be free of “LGBT ideology.” This toxic rhetoric has only served to deepen the external divisions between religious conservatives & the socially liberal poles. This is obviously unacceptable and needs to change immediately and that change is a possibility thanks to people like KPH. They use donations to organise social campaigns, educational materials, advocacy activities (including meetings with decision-makers and participation in the legislative process), to conduct media activities and court cases. These are long-term activities which need our support.

3 years ago MCR-T kickstarted Live From Earth Klub with his and the label’s first ever techno release  “KRAFT” LFEK001. Almost 3 years later we are proud to announce MCR-T’s second vinyl release and Live From Earth Klub‘s 11th installment “4 THA CULUTURE”.

Since the earliest days of raves, techno and rap did not only coexist but were fundamentally intertwined. The contemporary techno / electronic music image has long ridden itself of its hip hop MCing component rendering the combination of both as being virtually extinct. All-terrain vehicle MCR-T aims to restore the long forgotten craft of MCing over techno / gabber / electro beats not only on the dancefloor but also for your recreational pleasure. Combining forces with Australia’s own legendary Partiboi69 has only made this EP an even spicier force to be reckoned with.

The sonic character of this body of music spans from 90’s piano stab infused big room techno anthems to contemporary ghetto tech, electro, and gabber interpretations combining the soul power of voice with the menacing power of bass.

“4 THA CULTURE” EP pays homage to all the OGs of electronic music, to all the ravers on and off the dancefloor, to all the promoters, the labels and clubs, the tastemakers, the recordshops.

This ain’t just for y’all.
It’s for the culture.
