The first adherents of THE CVLT operated solely in secrecy, relying on alternative networks of communication to compose their sonic scripture in seclusion from any outside influence or watchful eye. Theirs was a project born of ancient knowledge, the completion and codification of an ancient hymn never heard in full that held within it the power to usher in a new age of human evolution. Each of these initial initiates had heard within themselves a fraction of its melody, a gift bestowed upon them by a greater power as yet unknown, and by its omnipotent hand it was that they were guided to each other, the mutual involvement in THE CVLT born of inexorable circumstance.

Indeed, as their work progressed it was that a new convert would inevitably emerge, possessing within themselves some hitherto unknown harmony to be added to their chorus. In time the first forms of the hymn were sung, and though still incomplete the first tinges of their effects were felt by all who were present for their utterance. Ailments were lifted, wounds were mended, and from the minds of those who sang were revealed the locations of those who possessed further portions of the final work. Thus it was that THE CVLT progressed in its monumental task unhindered, and thus it is that THE CVLT stands today on the precipice of divine creation, ready to usher in a new era of sonic prophecy.

MIDNIGHT CVLT returns to EATBRAIN with THE CVLT, an EP that reveals four fabled compositions to the eager ears of the label’s horde. Featuring two solo tracks and two works of collaboration with Litence & Screamarts, MIDNIGHT CVLT’s latest work is set to welcome new initiates to the EATBRAIN horde from dancefloors worldwide.

What So Not - Messin' Me Up ft. EVAN GIIA (Buunshin Remix)

As the ronin reached the road’s crest upon a windswept hilltop, the sight that met his eyes was not that of the bucolic streamside town that he had last passed through three seasons ago. The fields upon its outskirts lay fallow beneath the last rays of the late summer sun, and no livestock milled about before the houses that lay now shattered, their walls torn and thatched rooves thrown about as though by a great gale. At the town’s center, the roof of the humble temple had been rent asunder, revealing the careful miydaiku construction that had been the great pride of this town upon his last visit. 

As the ronin began to tread upon the town’s now desolate streets, he found himself assailed by an unearthly heat that seemed to sap the very earth of its vital energies. Produce lay shriveled and unharvested on the town’s vines, the pathway upon which he tread singed the bottom of his sandals, and as he drew his katana the steel blade shimmered as a mirage. Before him, upon the steps of the temple, lay the body of its faithful miko, her skin charred by rivulets of flame in a pattern the ronin knew all too well. Around him, the heat swelled, sucking the oxygen from the air. Above him, the ronin looked up to meet a sight he already knew to exist - the great canine head of a hellhound, emblazoned with a talisman that bore the singular character of destruction and inscribed with the singular disjointed stroke pattern that could only be wrought by a malevolent kami’s hand.

EATBRAIN’s ronin warrior SCREAMARTS returns to the label with HELLHOUND, an EP cultivated from the artist’s distinct sonic palette and honed to deliver a four-track canticle of hellish sonics to the hungry ears of the EATBRAIN horde.

The Budapest based DJ/producer, Liveon, is a core representer of the Neurofunk subgenre. 

The first real debut dates back to May, 2017 with a solo release, containing two tracks called ’Destruction & Domination’ and ’Discomfort’, released on AMC’s label ’Titan’.
Not long after this, his work was noticed by the Noisia, played his tune on their radio show, ’Noisia Radio’. Liveon has been featured on two VA compilations (Titan Goes To Let It Roll, Surface Pt. 4), with artists like Disprove, Current Value and Akov. 

His tracks have been played by a numerous names, including AMC, Misanthrop, DJ Hype, Malux, The Clamps and got support from the local representers of the drum and bass scene, like Mindscape, Jade and Chris.SU.

Since then, Liveon has performed several times, both in local club nights (Bladerunnaz), also world famous festivals as LET IT ROLL. 
This year the release of UFO Panic EP spreads the fresh Liveon sounds to you.
