#LiveWires Unplugged : A Mother's Day Special (Naanaga Naan Illai & Kalayil Thinamum)

Being in a band isn’t all about chicks, drugs and booze; it’s about expressing the voice of creativity within. It requires commitment and passion strong enough to withstand obstacles of many forms. So is the story of this young band. The story starts with the journey of a young chap trying to break into the music scene in the year 2007, he failed. After a year of hiatus, he then met another lad who shared the same ideology and passion towards music. Chemistry slowly kicked in and they took another huge step; again, it was a failure. No matter how many times you fall, you pull yourself up, believing that everything happens for a reason. They never gave up and the following year, they met a guitarist who longed for music back in his life. Livewires, they called themselves. And this is where it all started. Realizing the potential they had, more members were roped in for their individual character, skills and most importantly the FAITH that they have in music. Some came and left, but they will never be forgotten and they will continue to be an eternal member of the band. Livewires was founded in the year 2010 and their maiden performance was for ICS MMU Malacca’s Talent Gala 2010 and continued to perform for various other shows and events.
