Living Beyond Breast Cancer, Penn Medicine, and the Basser Center for BRCA held an important webinar on how to assess and understand your breast cancer risk, as well as learn about the risk-reducing surgical options for those who are at high risk for breast cancer or have BRCA1/2 gene mutations.

Leading experts from Penn Medicine and the Basser Center for BRCA discussed and provided their insights on the latest in BRCA treatment, breast cancer risk evaluation and genetic counseling, risk-reducing mastectomy options, advancements in breast reconstruction after mastectomy, and post-surgical management and care.

To fulfill our mission of providing trusted information and a community of support, we offer on-demand emotional, practical, and evidence-based content that is meaningful to those newly diagnosed, in treatment, post-treatment, and living with metastatic disease.

In Can and Did Conversations, young women diagnosed with breast cancer share their stories about the impact of breast cancer and what they did to steer a path forward in this limited podcast series. Topics that matter, such as navigating mental health conditions, career and workplace decisions, complementary therapies, and fertility issues are discussed.
