For Amani Friend and his Liquid Bloom project, the Re:Generations mixes are a gift that keeps on giving. First remixed by AtYyA, who took on the entire album by himself, now an all-star cast of subsonic wizards from around the globe are putting their own spin on these intoxicating tunes. 

Stars of the psychedelic world like Hedflux and Land Switcher pump thrilling bass into “Roots of the Earth”and “Fire Gathering,” respectively. Kaminanda takes “Sacred Blessing” on a more than 11-minute epic journey. Numatik ignites new life into Fire Gathering .Suduaya, Momentology, Salis, and Nanosphere run the gamut from rich, organic strings and ethereal voices to dark, brooding, and bellowing sub bass covering the spectrum from delicate, ambience to pounding grooves. Tuvan Twerk (Basher Toe & Baq)

Embarking on their second collaborative endeavor, the Italian beat makers and multi- instrumentalists, Halfred and Lo.Renzo further solidify their close working relationship with their first EP as Jakare. Released on Desert Trax, Jakare’s ‘Apu’ EP is the culmination of all that’s dear about both artists’ creative vision, blending intricate technical design with melodic tenderness and biophilic atmospherics. The artists’ choice to pursue these 
new avenues of shamanic downtempo music reflects their willingness to start afresh under a new alias and pursue experimentation without the pre- conceived associations with their solo projects. 
In the course of four songs, the duo paint a truly vivid picture of ancient life in nature and taking inspiration from different modern cultures; from the slight nod to the bluesy Latin American marshes of ‘Cleansing’, Andean flavors on ‘Glass Temple’, the instrumental grooves of ‘GloBall’ and aquatic night time swims in ‘Moon Howl’, the EP stays consistent in its overall aesthetic and harmoniousness throughout. The duo utilize charango, classic guitars, electric guitar, pan flute, shakers, percussions to bring the organic sound, while relying on their masterful sound design techniques to develop 
cinematic field-recording- based atmospherics. 
Apu arrives on Desert Trax May 31st. Jakare will also debut their live show at Spain’s Own Spirit festival this summer. Get ready to grow leaves out your ears!

Living Light is the brainchild of Boston-based producer Eartha Harris. Incorporating elements of psychedelic and downtempo dub and uplifting global bass, her productions sweep listeners on intricate musical journeys aimed at enchanting and elevating the soul. She has toured extensively as both a solo artist and live band keyboardist, and has been a multi-faceted presence in the global festival scene for over a decade. Eartha’s most recent work features collaborations with Simon Posford (Shpongle), Gabriel Le Mar (The Saafi Brothers), and Chris Barker (Ott & The All-Seeing I), as well as a series of remixes with Kaya Project, Gaudi, Liquid Bloom, Globular, and numerous other producers from around the world.
