Tracing

It's been a year since my friend passed away. This is one of the many songs I wrote in dedication to Him. This one is of me reminiscing over some of the memories I had with him. Missing him alot.

Reminiscing

I'm tired of alot of this pain going on. At this time right now and last year I'm tired as I can't sleep with what happened, but I know God is still there in the why and gives rest to the weary. He gives comfort to the broken. I know my friend will always be in my heart.

I'm Tired

Here is my newest song called Cry For Help. It talks of the struggle people go through.  Many people are crying out for help all the time, but you just gotta take the time to care for others and reach out to people.  This is a lost and broken world filled with hurting people, but thanks be to God that He hears our cries and is our help. Hope this touches y'all

Cry For Help

Joshua Belton is a rapper from Morganton, North Carolina who raps, sings, beatboxes, writes songs and is known in rapping as JDB13 and to some as Living Proof. He grew up in a small town with his mom and grandma raising him because he never saw nor knew his father. He grew up loving music and grew up in church singing in the choirs. Later on in life he got saved and began a relationship with his heavenly father. Josh discovered that he loved to write lyrics but he didn't know his style, but later found rap. After listening to Lecrae and some other guys like Flame and Grits he realized he wanted to rhyme but rhyme truth. Josh finally broke out of his bubble and started singing, rapping, making songs, and even beatboxing. He recognized who he was. He knew he was different and a child of God so he embraced it. Although JDB13 has faced struggles in his life he says that he don't want people to feel sorry for him but rather look at him as Living Proof of what his God can do, thus the reason he chose that as his former name and his go to slogan or catch phrase. He says he wants to be the man his father wasn't, but he says he'd much rather be the man that Jesus was. Now days JDB13 is making songs and putting them online, singing solos at his church, and also speaking in the mornings at his church. He is trying to be the man God wants him to be by showing an example of Christ in all that he does, so that he can witness to this lost and dying world. JDB13 has released many singles and he has released a compilation mixtape of his earlier songs.
