This year VibeSquaD contributed a new single to MUISIQUE V.1 compilation curated by Clozee for her label Odyzey Music. VibeSquaD is the work of Aaron Holstein who turned 50 this year. His newest project is called Backpact, a plush analog lo-fi blunted sunset cruise through your afterthoughts.

Who doesn't love a good Space Danish. Especially one forged in the dark times and released on 4/20.

This song has been a turning point in my music making. It came out of the process of releasing expectations of what I "should" be writing and just let the music making process flow.

The artwork was generated / prompted by myself using midjourney. The graphic design was also done by myself.

Tripta is a Toronto based producer/DJ focusing on the darker sounds of Grime and Dubstep. Blending elements of Grime, Dubstep, Breaks and Jungle all together for a unique sound you won't hear anywhere else. Tripta first broke onto the scene with a vinyl release on DJ Slimzee's 'Slimzo's Recordings'. Since then he has had releases on Strictly140, Rotpot Records, United, Reloaded Sounds and more. He has had appearances on Rinse FM, Mode FM, ISO Radio and has a monthly residency on Subtle Radio. About the Guests

JFC -   Ed Rush & Optical. Serial Killaz. Phibes. Marcus
Visionary. These are just a few of the artists that
Canada’s JFC has shared the stage with during his
decade-plus tenure DJing raucous drum and bass.
JFC, better known as Jake Fucking Carter to some, has
been captivating dancefloors and entertaining masses
since the start, more than ten years ago. Landing in
Edmonton, Alberta, by way of New Brunswick, JFC
started playing dnb after discovering the city’s iconic
Jungle Fever nights. Before that, it was Shy FX and
T-Power’s “Everyday” that hooked him on listening to
dnb, and it wasn’t long before constant listening led to
playing himself.
Despite being more suited for primetime, JFC has an
appreciation for the curation of time slots that he
brings to any dancefloor he touches. His efforts have
landed him shows across western Canada, including
triple-year bookings at  Shambhala Music Festival
infamous Ragga Jungle Rinseout, one of the festival’s
most popular recurring events.
When asked about the future JFC states the
importance of giving back to the scene that made
him. “I want to give back to the dnb scene since it’s
provided me with so much over the years. I want to
create more music for people to enjoy, as people have
been creating music for me to enjoy for many moons”

"Turbine" emerged from the confluence of aspirations shared by Ben, Tony, and Nico, who hail from France and met in Montreal. About the Guests

Incandescent is a Toronto-based artist whose sound design-heavy productions are pushing the boundaries of bass music. His sound is defined by intricate sound design, low frequency pressure and the blending of live instrumentation with electronic sounds, making for a unique signature that shines through regardless of genre or bpm. Whether warming up the room at 10pm or headlining at midnight, his sets are always made appropriate for the setting. Outside of playing and producing he is just as much of a fan of the music, if he's not on stage you can always find him on the dance floor.From atmospheric dubstep to sub heavy drum and bass, his productions are not limited to a single genre.

Etyan Tobin - Shifting his focus to electronic production, Eytan Tobin was signed by Toronto label Rare Beef Records with his 2014 EP, “For Everyone”. The record quickly received attention from local music journalists and international outlets like XLR8R and Thump which lead to Eytan’s invitation to the Red Bull Music Academy Bass Camp 2015 in Montreal. It is during this time that he began writing his follow up EP, “1990”, a personal record mired by his anxieties and insecurities that were only heightened by the experience of being surrounded by established DJs and producers at the RBMA camp. “1990” fit perfectly with the melancholic, forward-thinking catalogue of Toronto internet label “Bedroomer”, which Eytan was not only signed to but was elevated to co-manager of the collective in 2016. The success of “1990” was followed by several releases on international labels including Never Slept (Australia), Tenth Degree (U.S), Ten Toes Turbo (Mexico), Deviant Audio, and remixes for acts like Most People and Pick A Piper. These releases culminated in a tour of Asia alongside frequent collaborator Internet Daughter. The tour included performances alongside DJ Fulltono in Osaka, Japan and with Teki Latex at Cakeshop in Seoul, South Korea. Following this tour and a downturn in his personal life, Eytan took a break from live performance - occasionally self-releasing experimental records and remix packs online. 

Eytan’s recent post-COVID-lockdown return to Djing has seen his experimental productions leaning further and further into club oriented arrangements - with heavy influence from Chicago Footwork, Jungle, and Baltimore / Jersey club. His recent edits have seen support from DJs like Meg10, Ana Luisa, Redliners, Nino Brown, Lilihell, Chippy Nonstop and Captivate. With his career spanning over a decade, Eytan has established himself as a veteran of the Toronto dance music scene - having Dj’d at dozens of raves, hosted several online radio shows, and booked the live debuts of some his biggest influences (Kush Jones, DJ Paypal, Champion, LSDXOXO, DJ Deeon, Ana Morgan, DJ Taye).

@mochipet - Born in Taiwan to a rocket scientist father and kindergarten teacher mother, David Y Wang makes his own brand of electronic music under the alias “Mochipet.” He has been spotted touring throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia; oftentimes in a purple Godzilla suit. You might have heard his music featured in video games with the Beastie Boys, or performed by a 20-piece orchestra at New York’s Carnegie Hall. Eclectic is an understatement for his collaborations, as he has worked with everyone from Legendary Skateboarder/Musician Ray Barbee, to Techno Queen Ellen Allien, Jazz drummer Weasel Walter, and Mashup DJ Z-Trip. @wegotthedope - Halifax duo dope have quickly established themselves at the forefront of East Coast Canada’s electronic music scene with their fresh and consistent approach. Flawlessly bridging the gap between hip hop and electronic music, the dope boys combine a unique mix of experimental bass, dub, rap, grime and other forms of forward thinking music.

Their first official EP release, ’No Filter’, dropped late fall of 2018 on Germany’s Saturate! Records. Located in Canada, Geoffrey Livingston also known as Living~Stone has performed with some of dubstep, drum and bass & bass music's most iconic act including Noisia, Librarian & Joe Nice, Mr. Bill, Ill Gates, Black Tiger Sex Machine. Living~Stone demands your dance moves and will not rest until all are united under the flag of great revelry and joy. As an alchemist of frequencies, Living~Stone blends elements of many electronic styles always striving for the perfect blend, drop and low end rumble and is not doing his job unless the dance floor is a soupy mess of high energy dance, merriment and general enthusiasm.
