It is very important to know when we are hearing the voice of God vs. a wrong spirit. We know if the voice we are hearing is going directly against the word of God or the character of God then we are Not hearing the voice of God. Most of the time we hear the LORD in the scripture and deep in our spirits. Amen and Amen!

Jas 4:4  Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. 
We can make all the excuses we want to God as to why we indulge so much in this world, but the bottom line is the word says if we love this world and the things of the world, then we are an enemy of God. Nothing left to do except repent of it and turn from it.

Forsake (leave,to loosen,relinquish,forsake,refuse) the foolish(silly,seducable,unwise,marked by folly) and live(alive,life,recover,repair,save), and go in the way of understanding(wisdom)
