Livyatan is a two man side project by members of the UK extreme metal band Pallormortis. Created in late 2006 by Adam S, a debut album was released by the Italian net label, Ekleipsi records.

Livyatan was rekindled in late 2010 by Adam to record a new album. Joined by Pallormortis bandmate NEX. The album is currently being written and is expected to be released by mid 2011.
