LiY is a Montréal/London band formed by Laurence Dauphinais, Simon Stephens and Christian Lapointe. They followed a simple creative process, Lapointe would compose music, send it to Stephens who would write lyrics and Dauphinais would sing them, creating the melody over the music. 
They are, all three, also theatre makers.
