Faith of a Child is a recording of my family discussing what happened around the time this photo was captured. My mother, brothers and sister discuss who was on the cross and what they remember. This recording was made as part of an artwork for Stations of the Cross at Wesley Church Uniting Church in Perth. 

Faith of a Child

I am 23 years old, live in Perth and work as a gallery attendant.  
I make art based on personal experiences and feelings using paint, found objects, sculpture and textiles. I don’t always understand my experiences in life and art gives me a way to unravel them, to try to make sense of them. 
The process of creating is taking something, like a thought or feeling, that I have no language for and expressing it as an object or thing. That process is comforting.
