This is an unreleased song for my band "Sidewalk". I wrote it about wanting to live a million different lives, knowing you can't, and feeling conflicted about what direction to go in. It's heavily inspired by the Sylvia Plath poem from "The Bell Jar". 
I recorded it with my friend and band-mate Tyler Donkoh-Halm, who played ukulele and mixed it.

this one is about a confusing little thing I was in. I wrote the refrain and bridges while in it, but I couldn't write the verses until it was over. still think I like him too much :') oh well tho

this one's also about a little thing. while in it, I was reflecting on what a relationship "should" be, and realizing it doesn't have to fit into the boxes in my head, but still being frustrated at it not going anywhere and then, ultimately, still being disappointed that something good turned sour :/

an ode to casual relationships

(mom and dad, don't listen to this please) I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to those kind of things, they're confusing and emotional and complicated, even when you don't want them to be. but this really sums up all my thoughts I had while experiencing "casual" for the first time. I hope you like it and maybe relate.

here's an early version of one of my originals

i wrote this song while being in a relationship I knew wouldn't last, but I was so determined to enjoy it while it was mine. nowadays, the song represents staying present and being grateful for all the relationships I have in my life, however fleeting. it feels super nostalgic to me, so I hope you resonate with it like I do :)
