I can't stop thinking about Baltimore, and about the police state that America has now become, especially for people of color...When Freddie Gray was murdered by police in Baltimore, the police report said that the reason he was arrested was because he "briefly locked eyes with police," and then ran.  He was then killed.  As far as I know, looking at police is not a crime, nor is it cause for arrest.  Apparently, Mr. Gray had good reason to run, as he is now dead at the hands of those policemen who were chasing him.  This is a very rough version of "Baltimore," written and recorded about an hour ago.  (All rights reserved)

Written in honor of the young Jewish artist, Peter Ginz, who died in Thereseinstadt in 1944.  His drawing of the earth as seen from the moon accompanied Israeil astronaut Ilan Ramon (whose mother was a Holocaust survivor) into space on the shuttle Challenger, where he and the drawing both perished in flames.  Think of them before you start agreeing to registering those "other" people.
