I'm Darker Than You Know

“Slow Burn Baby” is not a finished product. The point of releasing this EP has nothing to do with the physical EP itself. The sharing of this collection of my songs is a public commitment to myself, to my dreams, and to my own creativity. I want this EP to be a reminder to me and anyone who is open to it, that life is process, not product. That life is more than a list of achievements, more than perfectionist ideals, more than becoming “successful”. I recommit to embracing all of this process, not just the moments of joy and peace, but to uncertainty, pain, chaos and failure - all of which were present in the making of this EP, in the making of any creative work, and in the making of any life. You cannot have light without the dark, even if it is just a Slowly Burning ember.

Slow Burn Baby, it took a long time to get here. But it was fire and light all the way.
