My new album METAL SUNRISE is out today.

I began working on it in 2022. It’s an experimental journey that blends progressive electronic music with the cinematic energy of film soundtracks.

Every place and time has its own sound—and this album is no exception. It was composed using my custom virtual instrument, built from real audio recordings captured during the war in Ukraine between 2022 and 2025. The sounds of city streets, air raids, quiet nights, and chaotic days became tools of expression and transformation.

The cover art reflects this idea: shards of metal or distant stars—symbols of both destruction and light. METAL SUNRISE is about contrast: silence and sound, darkness and clarity, despair and resilience. Each track is a spark—a new beginning.

Saltus is a classically trained guitarist starting at age 9, progressing into playing in rock & metal bands in his teens. Shortly after he discovered his passion for electronic music and rave culture. Saltus is also known for his role as manager for TRUTH, Deep Dark & Dangerous, Honeycomb, and more. As well as earning a reputation as an event promoter via his outfits Rezinate & MASS EDMC, for producing high quality electronic music events throughout the United States since 2010.

If you can expect one thing from Saltus' sets it's an impressive range of bass music and dark, minimal flavors. Dungeon, grime, stanker after stanker. Showcasing his styles & prowess in 140, 130, and 170 with a clear command of the dance floor as he puts us in an absolute trance 🌀

I started djing in 1998 getting turned onto the rave scene by likes of Dj Silpher,  Rowdy Faust, and Dan Craig, Lords of Acid....working at the wherehouse music in salem, oregon from 1996-1997 i got exposed to more electronic music and producers, Nine Inch Nails, Morcheeba, Bjork are among some of my early influence, and finally Dara in 1997 that changed my life.......


              and then it was off to Eugene, Oregon to attend UofO in the dorms in 1998 where LizardKingproductions was formed and threw several well documented productions between 1999-2002 in Eugene, working with Stylus grooves aka Jason dj Silver, with stylus systems.In 2006 i through "Communion" a small outdooor party in Eugene, Oregon with Dj Tek from Roseburg, Oregon....I started throwing parties and spinning at shows with Justin Down aka DJ Getdown in 2007, The rabbits tail and Boom Box in the boon dox the 1st original parties..lol..


            In 2018 i met Kurt Gluck aka Kurt Submerged who is one the best DnB producers in the world and currently lives in Berlin, Germany working on his craft, he inspired me in ways he will never know....I also got in touch with Monolog aka Mads who is one of my favorite producers,,,,i spin his stuff all the time lol.....big ups guys....Live well.
