A Turtle's Dream in Outerspace (Coughful Syruptainly) remix of Sondre Lerche's new single "Bad Law", from the upcoming album Please.

Big general thank you at Mr. Lerche for always inspiring, and a more pointy specific one for the opportunity to remix such a great song. I figured what I might lack in any area of competition, I could make up for in weirdness. I used Reason, and ended up recording a few things (most of the bass and guitar you hear in there, as well as some MIDI synths that got processed to the Post Office and back). Mostly it was a lot of time stretching, formant shifting, and automated delays. At the end I "mastered" it all onto a Tascam Portastudio02mkII cassette machine for unsettling nostalgia. Then I just remembered to turn on the studio magic and it was complete.
