This is our cover of Simon & Garfunkel's tune from the Bridge Over Troubled Waters Album. Andy Walpole played guitar, I sang and mixed. This has gotten good feedback, but having listened to it again for the first time in a while, I think the vocal gets a bit wimpy in a "as I extend my pinky to lift my teacup, oh dear I freel a headache coming on" kind of way. So will redo at some point.

Luz Elena Mendoza’s songs draw from her strict Catholic upbringing as an only daughter of a Mexican immigrant and the vocal harmonies of the Latin music she grew up around. Neko Case, who hand-picked Y La Bamba to open for her on multiple tours, lends her vocals to the title track of the band’s sophomore album, Court the Storm, produced by Grammy-winning producer Steve Berlin (also of legendary rock outfit Los Lobos).
