Future-Gazing

This was a commission to make a version of the Tetris theme, which is actually an old Russian folk song. Time to have a little fun with such a well-known tune, I thought. Little did I know that this song would become an earworm for days afterward. 

Rush-to-Brick

My friend was getting married, she asked if I could make a classical version of Metric's song 'Help I'm Alive'. Her friend's nephew is in the band. I played it at the wedding and she was immeasurably happy.

I really love making classical versions of songs, I think that's why I'm much more obsessed with tunes and harmony than genre when I listen to music - a good song is still recognisable even when all the orchestration is different.
