Winning entry for the Game Audio Network Guild's Student/Apprentice Contest.

The challenge was to compose a theme for a game based in a “Olympic playground” and features house pets competing with each other in an Olympics-like contest. The artwork is whimsical, and of course the pet owners resemble their pets (or is it the other way around?). Winning pets stand on their pedestal where their anthem plays. Competition can be fierce (but never dangerous).

8Dio Studio Orchestral Percussion: "Lightsail" by Pieter Schlosser

Lauren Kosty is a multi-faceted percussionist from Los Angeles, currently based in London.  She performs regularly in a range of genres including orchestral, jazz, musical theatre, recording for film & TV, and pop.  Lauren has performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl as well as playing live with P. Diddy at the American Music Awards and Cirque Du Soliel’s “Project Natal” on MTV. She was recently featured by Zildjian Cymbals in the Gen 16 “Young Guns" series. Additionally Lauren has performed with John Williams, Alan Silvestri, David Newman, David Benoit, Chris Botti, Bobby McFerrin, Gustavo Dudamel, Sir Neville Marriner, Keith Lockhart, the Fresno Philharmonic, Long Beach Opera, David Ricard Big Band, the American Musical and Drama Academy and in venues such as New York’s Carnegie Hall and Los Angeles' Walt Disney Concert Hall. She holds a Bachelors of Music from the University of Southern California and a Masters of Music from Carnegie Mellon University.
