As Solid Stone proudly became the first artist responsible for a full album on Coldharbour Recordings through the release of Introspection, one track in particular captured the immediate and long-lasting attention of fans worldwide - the dark yet touching Heart Call. 

A familiar collaborative voice on previous Solid Stone compositions, his good friend Jennifer Rene shines through the emotions behind the words, with many citing the piece as a contender for track of 2016. The remixes are no less outstanding, with progressive master Jerome Isma-Ae, having a stellar year in his own right, adding a dark, driving and somewhat sinister approach. And for melodic trance lovers, New York native Monoverse presents Heart Call in a more energetic case, whilst maintaining the soul of the original.

May 26, 2017 marks the arrival of a new album from one of electronic music’s most perennial pioneers. A true labour of love, given his passion for discovery science and space and time, Ferry Corsten’s latest studio project ‘Blueprint’ has set him on course for his own discovery as a producer, artist and storyteller. And he wants you to join him on this journey…

In a voyage to design something that would illuminate beyond just the dancefloor, Ferry has pieced together a truly remarkable piece of work in this enthralling concept album that puts focus on a narrative of the existence of mankind and our desire to reach beyond on our own world, for love, for curiosity, for the exploration of our existence?

Written into the musical code of the album we learn that from the deepest edges of space, ‘The Drum’ can be heard, endlessly repeating, without any understanding as to its reason or purpose. None of the greatest minds on earth or the governmental superpower can decipher its existence. Except one. As the listener journeys from the opening track to the last the album chronicles the voyage of Lukas and Vee as a new world is opened up to not just the mind but the heart. But why did they send Vee? Is she the first contact or something more nefarious? As Lukas uncovers the truth, he learns of a far greater truth, one that has grand implications for all mankind.

Within the ranks of the Coldharbour Recordings family, there is a buzz gathering around the ascent of two brothers under the unison of Arkham Knights. Their latest outlay in the form of Afterworld will only accelerate the motion. 

Already fueling the playlists of many top-tier DJs this year through previous single Awakening, the notes of Afterworld were first emitted through to the thousands via Markus Schulz's headlining set at the Transmission festival in Bangkok in March, and became a hot point at Miami Music Week only weeks later.

With his performance at EDC Vegas still dominating #TheNineSkies rearview, Markus Schulz expands the program with two new adaptions of ‘Mota-Mota’. Talla 2XLC and Arkham Knights are the artists charged with taking Dakota & Koen Groeneveld’s techno leviathan further down the bunny hole.    
Extra crunch to the percussion, added impetus to her tempo, greater stalk to the bass and even more menacing murk to its mainline! Who dares twist ‘Mota-Mota’ into something even moodier, dirtier and more industrial?! That be those Arkham Knights brothers, whose Reconstruction revision checks all the above boxes… and breaks a few rules into the bargain. 

In their 9/10 review, ‘2 techno 4 U?’ was the question DJ Mag leveled at ‘Mota-Mota’s “dense, delicious dance macabre” original. If that resonates, then Talla 2XLC’s redesign should tip the scales for you. With his mix, the German quartermaster instinctively pivots the track onto trance ground. That said, we’re still talking ‘Mota-Mota’, so don’t be expecting angels, rainbows or whatnot! Driven by riding hi-hats and hard claps, Talla quickens both pace and pulse, drawing out its drop, adding reverb emphasis to its FX, and just before its midnight arrives, allowing a judicious shaft or two of melody to break through.   Two new mixes, neither to be taken lightly. Chose your weapon.
