A conversation between a toilet and a sink. This is a site specific and context specific sound piece that was featured in House Gig #1, a Norwich based exhibition in a domestic setting (2016). Two tracks were used in conjunction with each other and played through different hidden speakers.

An experiment tried with an interest in the blurs of language and the necessary adaptability of our perception to adjust to consistent and frequent ambiguity.

Endless

An audio recording for a site-specific sound art installation. 
The installation shows a puppet show theatre box just before the show begins. As you, the audience, await the beginning of a nervously anticipated performance, two professional puppeteers prepare themselves for their routine show inside the box. Whilst they prepare themselves mentally and physically through small talk, their conversation is also presenting a suggested live performance that is taking place. In this example it was featured in the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts, Norwich for one night only. (2016)

It is a light-hearted touch on suggesting that all art originates from humans – a common theme in Lloyd’s work.

A Box For An Office

'Play/Play' evolved as an outcome to playing during a residency at The Barber Shop, Norwich. (2016)

The sound was played during a live opening event, the speakers were set up close to the objects that were 'speaking'.

It is a mini sound play that personifies objects through giving them voices. The objects chosen are in transition between installation and show and contemplative and inquisitive of their own existence. The dialogue that occurs between each of the objects demonstrates the appropriation that has taken place, the objects that usually support artists in residence for install have now become characters in a play with their own personalities.
