Lloyd Scott has been a Professional Musician for over 20 years, working with some of the biggest names in the pop music industry. He studied Classical Music at a young age having passed 15 Royal School of Music exams and in the spring of 2010 he sat his RGT Grade 8 in Electric Guitar.

1995 – Lloyd formed the band Genelab who were later discovered by BBC Radio 1 DJ’s Mark and Lard. The pair gave the song ‘Anorak Lou’ (Written and sung by Lloyd himself) numerous daytime airplays after which 10 major record companies battled against each other to sign both the band and Lloyd for his songwriting.

1999 – During this year, Genelab were soon signed to Polydor Records and the highly anticipated single Anorak Lou was released to huge critical acclaim. The song also went on to become the Teletext Single of the Year. Remixes for Genelab’s music included Paul Oakenfold, Andy Gray and Francois K (Depeche Mode, U2).

2000 – Lloyd formed the production company L.B.S Productions, producing and writing the new single ‘Better Man’. It created an instant buzz in the A&R Fraternity and eventually it fell into the hands of Martin Dodd (A&R of Sony Worldwide) who discovered artists and bands such as Justin Timberlake, Backstreet Boys and Ace of Bass. Martin quickly called a meeting and announced he wanted the song to be recorded and used as the next Britney Spears single. Lloyd soon became a leading songwriter with all the major publishers keen to sign him.

2004 – Lloyd is signed to Windswept Pacific, the world’s largest and most successful independent publishers. He then went on to write and work with mainstream artists including Britney Spears, Blue, Atomic Kitten and Travis.

2005 to 2007 – Lloyd soon joins forces with the much acclaimed Film and TV Director ‘Marek Losey’ (The Hide). Together, the newly founded team produced the music for a number of successful TV commercials that were screened Worldwide.

Lloyd continues to write music for film and TV as well as writing songs for major artists around the World. In addition to having an agent in Los Angeles, Lloyd now also has a brand new management team representing him in the UK to further develop and promote his career.
