Bio 

East London born and Essex raised producer & dj Josh Smith has been producing music and djing since 2016.

Early years in discovering electronic music his style and taste was darker and faster paced with Tech-House and Techno being the first real influence and gateway into the underground scene.

Josh would go onto release his first EP ‘Melodic Grooves’ with Antarctic Records the same year of 2016.

In more recent years Josh has gravitated towards more of the Rominimal and Microhouse sound. Definitely favouring the eastern european intimate tones and energies.

Josh has gone onto release records with The Lab Records, Whoystro Ltd, Tanapa Records, Microgarden Lab, and Miaw to name a few.

In 2021 he secured his first residency with the up and coming brand ‘Select Sounds’ this is currently where you can catch him showcasing his sound and mixing abilities.

This is a monthly Top 10 that I am starting on the label with the simple idea of promoting artists and labels by giving the opportunity to invited DJs/ Producers to choose their fav 10 tracks from Bandcamp with the purpose of pushing the artists and labels we love and try and help them out by promoting these on our Soundcloud monthly.

Thinking I had to ask people to do podcasts, that everyone has on their page seemed like nothing new, therefore, I am starting this with the idea of Support!

The label purchases the 10 tracks chosen by the artist and then promotes via this channel and via Bandcamp as all purchased tracks would be visible via (see below links) the collection there (on Bandcamp).

All purchased tracks would be shared with the artists who are invited.

Hoping that some of the artists or labels we support via this Top 10, will be happy with an extra buck in their PayPal, that will maybe get them the dreamed record deal or just help them buy that record they wanted, whatever it is, hopes are with the community and eventual interest and support of this idea.
