Re-hashed my set from my guest spot at Versions in Calgary, AB on June 21, 2022 - the first day of summer! One of my absolute favorite gigs of the year, I made the trip out with my rave brother Mark Grimace who played before me and we had the best time! The vibes were magical that evening and I felt 100% in the zone playing an unplanned set purely from the heart, and without compromise. 

Versions is such a special time and it was lovely to play there IRL after doing previous guest sets on their Twitch streams!

For this months Oldschool Groove Therapy  show, Faith Invention have invited on New York based trip hop, downtempo and lounge king @Ursula1000. Starting off his music life DJ’ing in clubs across Miami in the 90’s, his rising popularity in New York saw him permanently move there, soon becoming a fixture of the cities downtempo, trip hop, house and lounge scene. Here he also became entrenched with producing, eventually being signed by, and releasing a number of releases on Thievery Corporations legendary label Eighteenth Street Lounge. All we ask is that you sit back and enjoy the mix :)

Well other than being a really cruisy & loungey sound specific to the Balaeric islands off the coast of Spain, I like to think the idea is not to follow any rules in the music curation. As long as it sounds good and the vibe stays high, throw a b-side of an infamous punk band along some ambient world record.
