On this self-titled debut EP, Sofia Kourtesis channels experiences of her transatlantic existence between hometowns Lima and Berlin through a torrent of sound, presenting us with a collection of tracks all firmly rooted in contemporary dance floors but with their spirits roaming high above the clouds.

This world-travelling, MPC-busting, Gold Panda-collaborating maverick's first appearance on record was with 2018's "WinWin San", a sparkly, razor sharp dance diamond that made out one of the highlights of our first label compilation Studio Barnhus Volym 1.

A self-described “travelling bedroom producer”, Sofia started the process of writing her solo debut with a journey into the Amazon jungle. Stops were also made in front of a dusty Juno-106 in her Berlin bedroom and at a mysterious Tokyo flea-market. We're a bit fuzzy on the details but we're pretty sure this record comes packed with the kind of raw energy and runaway imagination only a really strong debut release could possess.

For his Studio Barnhus debut, Laurence Guy connects the dots between the lo-fi ambient investigations of his 2017 debut album Saw You For The First Time, the warm club sounds heard on All I See Is Her, last year’s standout 12'' for Tokyo’s Mule Music, and the London-based dj and producer’s long roots in deep drum’n’bass and dubstep soil. Those roots, which have always been there as subtle rhythmical traces on Laurence Guy records, now appear more explicitly than ever, boosting the typically graceful harmonies and sooty samples of Guy's music with a new, profound energy. UK duo Letherette return to their personal imprint Wulf with a package of DJ edits from their extensive uptempo house music collection, 'Mander House Vol. 1'.

Ahead of the release, Letherette have handed over 'Just For You' - a devoted funk slammer with sexy guitar riffs and bright analog chords that are tied together with a compelling vocal arrangement.

The duo's five-track EP 'Mander House Edits' is set to drop via Wulf on April  5.
