REFORMIST

Reformist, hailing from Brighton UK, is continuing to make his mark in the underground Hardgroove scene. With his tracks ‘Starin’ At Me’ and ‘Pump Dis Party’ being played across Europe and Australia, he his progressing from the hard-groove of 2023 to darker and groove focused techno sound influenced by garage and old school house, most notably on his recent track ‘Love Call’. See him this summer for his London debuts for Symbiosis at Set Vault and forfcksakeuk at Corsica studios.

This mix is a focus on his new directions; still showing a love for hard-groove whilst experimenting with newer sounds and grooves. Expect unreleased tracks from Aidan Rudd, Kjinn_, DJ TRACKUIT and more.

Chris Flannigan is part of the upcoming wave of contemporary DJs and producers focused on fast yet groove-driven productions which predominantly pay homage to the golden era of techno. Influenced by this sound, accompanied by tribal and loop-centred elements that can be heard in his output Chris has gained a significant degree of notoriety amongst his peers releasing alongside the likes of Chlär, Alarico and D.A.V.E The Drummer. His productions have built a steady rapport globally with his music being played in America, Australia and across Europe while even gaining playtime within the confines of Berghain in Berlin.

Currently based in Belfast, Ireland, Chris has performed various headline shows across Ireland and the UK, where he has supported industry heavyweight Daria Kosolova. Not to mention making his American debut in New York earlier this year. This is a result of his dedication to production where recent label releases include Disintegrated, PHTM, Laburnum Records and Orbital Oscillation with an eclectic mix of track releases that can also be heard on Soundcloud.

Gravitational Forces is a new underground techno label from CMPND (BE) in Belgium, and has previously featured artists such as Joton, Amine Kohb, and Dorbachov.

Portuguese talent Gilbert CZ joins the label's ranks for the first time. A regular DJ and live act in his local Porto club scene, his mesmerising productions have appeared on M4rlow, Mechanical Wave, and WRD Records.

On remix duty, PS11 is an American artist who is resident at E-HRZN events in Miami and also lists appearances on Lindsey Herbert's EvilGroove, BCCO, Chicago Jaxxx, Concrete Tbilisi and many more.

"Void Pulse" has an ominous energy, with pulsing bass beats and rolling percussion, the mood is heightened by sparse synth stabs and other effects creating a twisted dance floor ready cut.

PS11 injects some skittering percussion for an up-tempo masterclass on his remix of "Void Pulse." Lashings of hats and a bubbling mid section, turn things up to new levels of shear excitement on this blazing weapon.

"Taken Path" aims for an assured and moody groove. With a stuttering beat met with gothic sounding keys, it uses the filtered breakdowns to really capture the attention in this hypnotic juggernaut.

The last track, "White Wall" pushes forward in a more spaced-out aesthetic. Haunting drones and a subdued alarm-like presence combine with flashes of melody elements for a satisfying, dubby ride.

In January 2024, I decided to produce my second album. There is so much anger and hate in this world, and this album, titled "SEX WITH ENEMIES", is a message that we are all human beings and we are all one. If there is one thing that unites us all— isn´t it music?

The whole techno scene has changed so rapidly over the last three years. Techno isn’t just techno anymore; it has far more facets. The people have changed too, and now it’s important to show what the meaning of techno truly is. In my opinion: freedom, love, safety, fun, and rhythmic music!

My whole album reflects my current taste in music. I will always love dark techno with rumbling basses and the monotonous arrangements in techno tracks. But you’ll also find banging vocal tracks on it. Additionally, I’ve discovered the beauty of hypnotic, monotonous underground tracks.
