This NYE mix is an homage to my newfound home, New York City and dedicated to people willing to take a risk to pursue their dreams. In this mix lies sexy disco throwbacks like 'Il Macquillage' by Sister Sledge, 'Cola Bottle Baby' by Edwin Birdsong, 'High' by Skyy, and some Hamilton Bohannon sprinkled in as well. Blended with these Disco tracks is a solid foundation of 'House' music from different cities and eras (Chicago, New York, & Newark)and deejays (Armand Van Helden, DJ-Atrak, Eli Escobar, Paul Johnson) who I have been following for years plus some up and coming DJs/producers who are continuing this legacy. Special shoutout to everyone who came and spent New Years Eve with me. May this mix carry you into 2024 with tunes that warm your soul and make you dance all night long. More to come this year. New Years Eve Mix

This mix is pure sensuality at its core. It is an aural melting pot of various DJs, producers, and musicians with the recipe intended to nurture all six senses and be one of the most pleasurable listening experiences you have ever heard. With cuts from Kerri Chandler 'Bar-A-Thym' , Susumu Yokota 'Sexy Planet' & a Pepe Braddock remix - this 2 hour mix is a glimpse at the songs that have fueled my fire and passion for this beautiful thing called music. The cover art is a nod to Grace Jones' debut album, Portfolio (1977). I chose Ms. Jones to visually represent this mix because of her dynamic and sensual energy. Now without further adieu - roll a joint or (pour a drink), put your phone on dnd, sit back and press play.

DIVINE SOUNDS MIX 1

I was debating on dropping this mix so soon but decided to do it anyway because the excitement within me cannot hold it any longer like the anticipation of seeing your UberEats delivery on it's way. This mix is very special to me for numerous reasons. But here's a few:

1) Because of how much I have wanted to DJ at Jupiter Disco since I started DJing in NYC.
2) Because of it being my first mix done entirely on a rotary mixer (my fellow DJ/music nerds understand).
3) Because of how much fun I had while DJing here.

I say this because of the atmosphere, the love, the people who go to Jupiter Disco for nothing but good music and to DANCE... not to mention the DRINKS (shoutout to the bartenders)! The spirit of The Gallery, The Loft and all the people who created environments for Black and Queer Folks to enjoy themselves against a backdrop of great ambience, sound systems and music is alive at places like Jupiter Disco. Special thanks to the following people: J (sad to see you go but thank you for giving me this great opportunity, Gabbie, Matthew, Kilima, Albee Square '87, Lusi, Josh, Joe, and many more people who have helped me and supported me that night and the days leading up to it. Now let's get into this mix - this is only about 2 hours of my 4 hour mix sadly, but I'm very happy with what we were able to record. Enjoy some Disco classics like Diana Ross 'Love Hangover', First Choice 'Love Thing', Black Ivory's 'Mainline', - and of course - 'Is It All Over My Face?' by the late Arthur Russell and Larry Levan with more contemporary soulful dance tracks that seamlessly blend together (Theo Parrish 'Sweet Sticky', Crazy P's 'One True Light' ) and many more songs that tell a story of a night filled with great drinks, love and community. The cover is pictures of gorgeous model, Pat Cleveland, taken in a bath by legendary photographer, artist and painter Antonio Lopez - who is one of millions who passed away from HIV/AIDS. This mix is dedicated to my late grandmother, Patricia, who was also diagnosed and lived with HIV/AIDS before she passed. We never got to meet but I know we would have bonded over music among many other things. Keep on dancing and spreading love to each other. Love is FREE.
