2oo Deep was born with two dreams in Tampa, Florida. Hip Hop had always been one of those dreams that the young lyricist had to fulfill, but since childhood, the art came second to his love of basketball. With a ball and hand, constant practice on and off the court, and eventually a 6’8” stature, Deep was on a path to basketball greatness. Jumping from school to school, the artist was lost in the streets of Duval County, but after seeing the movie 8 Mile, Deep was inspired to pour his emotions into a black and white composition book. What once was priority and his first love, took a backseat for 2oo Deep’s love of music, and what started as poetry, became lyrics. Deep had been apart of other rap groups early on, but it was in his room at South Georgia Tech, with a stage mic hung from the ceiling, that Lost Minds Section came to fruition. 2oo Deep started LMS as a way for lyricists to come together and express themselves musically. The desire to be different, more creative, and to be lost in the music fueled Lost Minds. Once out of school, 2oo Deep became engulfed in the music, and in February, 2104 he released his first mixtape, 2oo Deep in Hip Hop, that had undertones of old school Hip Hop. Now in Atlanta, the artist is focused on building his Lost Minds empire with like-minded artists, his blueprint to success, and making a mark on the industry. LMS’ 2oo Deep aims to be one of the faces to revive hip hop.
