As a resident for Maison Pourpre and Surya, he has stood out with sets that explore the nuances of Techno and EBM. His performances in these genres take listeners on a sonic journey where coldness and energy collide, creating a mesmerizing alchemy that captivates and electrifies crowds. To  Celebrate the upcomping release of our Nu Groove compilation, Gerd Janson was kind enough to make us an awesome mix of his favorite Burrel Brothers tracks!

Recording under different aliases, the Burrell Brothers were the backbone
of Nu Groove Records. This New York label started in 1987 and took
inspiration from Trax Records, both musically and aesthetically. This
compilation compiles the absolute best of the Burrell's output and in
doing so is giving us a valuable insight to the much overlooked roots of
New York house music.
