Lokke is a Zurich based musician, born and raised in southern Germany. Known under many pseudonyms, his often one-take type of recordings are raw and with a touch of jazz. Lokke does a lot on his own when it comes to producing, both recording- and playing loads of instruments live. Lokke also works together with a lot of friends, most coming from the Beatbude family. Besides producing, he plays doublebass, rhodes and synths in several bands. After many beat tapes, live shows, dj sets and studio recordings, it is finally time for Lokke's first official solo release... "Time is an Invention".

After previous releases on Futureboogie, Man Make Music, Sonar Kollectiv, and Kerri Chandler's MadTech label, Moscow producer Phil Gerus pops up on Brooklyn's Bastard Jazz Recordings with a 4 track EP of nasty Modern Funk meets House Music entitled the "Nothing Twice" EP. Touching on driving Boogie fueled business ("Better Think Twice") , low slung pulsing funk of ("Don't You Know I Need You"), shimmering disco vibes ("My Soul Eats Twice"), and a bit of a melancholy strut ("I Need You More Than He") - the songs are strung together my deft vocal chops sung live in the studio - no samples here! Out worldwide mid November on digital and 12".

Microcosmos Records presents a new album “Ambivalence” by Kayatma.

Kayatma is a composer from Saint-Petersburg, Russia. He is a regular performer at parties and festivals in Russia, Goa, Bali, and Koh Phangan. Kayatma makes an organic blend of different music styles, he mixes ethnic instruments with electronics, floating chillout with dynamical breakbeat and melodic instrumentals.

“Ambivalence” is a new album in the emotional lounge, stiffed with trap music and braided with cross-cultural ethnic melodies. It has a firm basis for emergent fusion of breaks, jazz, folk tunes, and electronic experiments.
 
Split ego is searching for the balance between two opposite feelings. Love in the morning, hatred in the afternoon, happiness in the afternoon, antipathy at night. It’s a vibration of emotions. It’s rejection but possession. Embracement but a stab of hesitation. The ambivalence between life and death. And it will continue endlessly or will finish tomorrow.

The mirrors are broken but the reflections stay inside of us.

Live the inner state in dance, dive inside and meet the shadows, fly up towards the Sun, enjoy levitation and let the gravity take you back. Return to the favorite island and heal the soul.

“Ambivalence is a state of having simultaneous conflicting reactions, beliefs, or feelings towards some object. It is also the experience of having an attitude towards someone or something that contains opposite or mixed feelings”.
