"Astra" is a testament to the boundless creativity of its creators, as L Nix and Nourma seamlessly blend their distinct styles to craft a sonic landscape that is both immersive and foreboding. Each track on the album is a portal to a different dimension, where basslines rumble like distant thunder and synths weave intricate patterns of darkness. The blend between L Nix, Nourma, and Outsider is what we're here for.

The addition of remixes by Split and Substance to the project adds another layer of depth to the EP. Each offering a fresh take on the album's dark vibe. Split's remixes masterfully build tension, while Substance's versions intensify the experience.

Next up on @fotosounds is @kalidubs' 021 EP - a weighty four tracker. Here's the FKOF Premiere of the title track, 'Mad Cow' featuring Vandull and Snowy...

The 'Mad Cow' EP, 'FOTO021', is out 16th February via the label's Bandcamp and drops from the usual digital retailers from the 23rd Feb.

"For 'FOTO021' we bring you a 4 track EP from up and coming artist Kali coming out of Manchester (recently relocated to Canada), to pursue his music career following his tour over there.

"The title track 'Mad Cow' featuring Nottingham MC Vandulliza known for his militant flow and style like no other, along with Snowy who has recently been taken in by 1985 and started to get the recognition he deserves has been a steeple in Khanum's sets for around 2 years now and after a long time waiting it's finally ready to be put out. All 4 tracks on 021 bring different types of energy to the table; with the title track accompanied by two of the best 140 MC's around it brings that hype, whilst 'Fanta Fruit' twist explores Kali's technical side revolving around skippy vocal chops like nothing we've seen before on Foto. Switching the flavours to the aggy 'Spartan' where our newest artist focuses on the programming of breaks showing his versatility. Last but not least wrapping up the EP the track 'Bowza' includes a flawlessly executed, melodic masterpiece, ready for any MC or host to shell down in any set."

After his well-received 'Humans In Unison EP,' Ape Suit progresses further into the Jah-Tek catalogue with another 4-track EP packed with grit and weight.

'Tomorrow Or The Next Life EP' signals a more sinister tone from the Sydney-based producer as he continues to tear apart the bass music realm with intricate percussive elements, twisted sound design, and low-end pressure.

To start the EP off, we have the title track 'Tomorrow Or The Next Life,' a composition that explodes with deep sub movement and bursting leads, both of which intricately interweave as the track advances.

Next up, 'Dream Within A Dream' drops in with full clout, rotating between falling wobble bass lines and thick rasps, accompanied by Ape Suit's unique percussive fills and rolling hats.

Track 3, 'These Few Specks Of Time,' drops down to 130bpm with a serious combination of rolling subs, tribal percussion, and metallic melodics that fuel the track's spectral tonality.

Finally, track 4, 'Stars In Broad Daylight,' concludes the EP with a stripped-back bass arrangement enriched with space, husky sound design, and sinister atmospherics.

The 'Tomorrow Or The Next Life EP' is set to exclusively release on Bandcamp on the 16th of February, followed by availability on all other platforms on February 23rd.
