Matt Altman returns with 'Polita' on ALT RECORDS, landing Monday 1 December 2025. Altman, a Brooklyn-based DJ and producer, has been methodically carving out his niche in the underground techno scene since 2020. “Der Sturm Kommt” is German for the "storm is coming“, and the name of Michael Klein’s new EP could apply as equally to the artist as to his music. In the past two years especially, Klein’s career trajectory has skyrocketed thanks to the ever-increasing quality of his output. His tracks have been hand-picked for compilations by Amelie Lens and Cocoon honcho Sven Väth while his productions are supported by big-hitters including Laurent Garnier, Dubfire and of course Pan-Pot, the owners of his home-label Second State.

On his latest EP, the storm is coming quite literally in form of three high-energy bangers that help establish Klein as one of techno’s most reliable party-starters. The title track recreates the mood of an actual storm, opening with grey squall before the heavens open in a downpour of android-like vocals, high-volume distortions, a relentless kick and a build and drop sure to blow up any club it’s played in. Rather than dial it back on Wasser (meaning water), Klein keeps the heat turned right up, deploying a snarling acidic bassline recalling the best of International Deejay Gigolo Records and adding his own stamp in the form of a characterful dog-like bark. German for “when you scream”, Wenn Du Schreist is, as its name suggests, the most ominous-sounding of the lot. There’s a dark energy to the production, with spooky treated vocals and rubbery synths creating a nefarious atmosphere. Importantly though, like everything on this EP, the track still bangs.

Der Sturm Kommt is another package of high-BPM floor-scorchers from one of the hottest names on the scene today. With every release, Klein just gets harder, better, faster and stronger.

Mike was born in Belgium on January 16. He has been an electronic music Dj since the mid ninetees. That was just a hobby, but afterwards he realized that become a dj is what he wanted the most. After a study break he seriously began DJing at rave parties & clubs. Mike is a SAE.edu New York certified Electronic Music Producer. From then he started to produce various acid techno tracks. Mike is a 303 warrior from the "Belgian Resistance" bassline family and he is the proud owner of rare vintage analog machines such as the infamous Roland TB-303 & Roland TR-909, amongst other acid toys.
During his expat experience he founded MMA Records in 2012 in Encinitas, California, wich is a combination of Analog Machines Tricks Vs Hard work Choy Lee fut Kung Fu Style that reflect the music orientation he wanted to achieve and offer to his crowd.
When he came back from San Diego, Mike joined WCIA in June 2014. WCIA (we call it acid) was formely known as Acidfood Concept where Mike took a great pleasure to participate before going to live in USA for 4 years.
In 2016 He founded Analog Experience Records (100%vinyl label) with his cousins. Yes it's an analog family business!
Since then their tracks have travellled around the globe and have been playlisted by New Era Belgian  DJ such as Charlotte de Witte, bringing them to the modern festivals.
